Data collection on this website
Server log files
When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. These are:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing device
- Time of the server request
- IP address (shortened / anonymized)
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR – I have a legitimate interest in the technically flawless presentation and the security of this website.
Server access logs containing IP addresses are automatically deleted after 30 days at the latest.
Contact form & email
When you write to me via the contact form or by email, your details – name, email address, organization, subject and message – are processed and stored solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (responding to your request). I do not pass on this data without your consent.
Your message is stored for as long as needed to answer it and is deleted no later than 12 months after our correspondence has ended, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under tax law) require longer storage.
The submission is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS/TLS.

Netlify (hosting)
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the site is accessed, Netlify processes technical connection data to deliver the page. Access logs containing IP addresses are stored for up to 30 days and then deleted. The basis is a data processing agreement; the transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Google Analytics
Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (USA). Anonymized reach measurement – only after your consent. The transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU standard contractual clauses; Google LLC additionally states that it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See the “Cookies & tracking” section for details.
Resend (contact form delivery)
Messages sent via the contact form are delivered by Resend, Inc. (USA). Resend processes the name, email address and message content solely to deliver your inquiry to me by email; the data is not used for any other purpose. The transfer to the USA is based on the EU standard contractual clauses; Resend additionally states that it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b)/(f) GDPR.
